Migrant Program

The Putnam County Educational Service Center has operated a Migrant Education Program through the Ohio Department of Education for 24 years.  We have recently been combined to form, Region One Migrant Education Program, one of five regional programs through the Ohio Department of Education. The PCESC serves Williams, Fulton, Lucas, Defiance, Henry, Paulding, Van Wert, Putnam, Allen, Hancock, Mercer, Auglaize and Hardin Counties.

The Migrant Education Program is designed to help migratory children overcome disruptions in education, cultural and language barriers, social isolation, health-related problems and other factors that inhibit their abilities to do well in school. It also prepares them to make successful transitions to higher education or employment.

You may contact Dr. Jan Osborn, Superintendent for additional information or questions regarding enrollment at 419-523-5951 or jan.osborn@putnamcountyesc.org .
