Curriculum
The PCESC Curriculum Department supports the nine local school districts of Putnam County in the areas of curriculum, assessment, professional development, educational resources, and county wide student events. The Curriculum Coordinators work with K-12 teachers and administrators to write and revise the courses of study, review new textbooks for adoptions, provide gifted identification testing services, facilitate monthly county wide principals and guidance counselors meetings, grants management, facilitate the Resident Educator Program, and offer staff development. The office provides many services/special projects to the locals such as Scholastic League, Quiz Bowl, Science Fair, Arts Festival, summer school, STEM Camps, and many more.
